InStyle Daily Beauty Tip: Poppy Lip

Hey, guys!

So since I started working, putting on makeup became even more a part of my daily routine. To keep my look fresh and updated all the time, I turn to InStyle's Daily Beauty Tips. And their most recent one is called Poppy Lip.

The perfect blend of our favorite summer lip color, tangerine with the always classic red is a punchy shade of poppy. We love that Nora Zehetner chose this bold shade and coordinated it with her printed blazer. To get the look, start by exfoliating your lips so that you can apply product on a smooth, even surface. Then outline your pout in a slightly lighter shade of lip liner than your lipstick so that the colors blend. Apply a generous swipe of poppy to your lips like Nora or go lighter for a more subtle effect. Finish with clear gloss for a shiny finish or leave as is for a matte style.

I love this lip color!

What do you think? Do you like it?

InStyle Daily Beauty Tip: Loose Updo

Hey, guys!
How was your Easter weekend???

I went to a little Easter party with my family and I wore a new Spring dress I got from Forever 21 and I put my hair up on a loose updo a la Lauren Conrad:

Lauren Conrad

Give stuffy updos the boot and take a tip from Lauren Conrad, who wore a breezy chignon to the signing of her book, The Fame Game, in New York City. We love how the style gives off a carefree vibe, while the mirror-like shine and soft texture make it look polished. Her hairstylist Kristin Ess started by splitting hair into three sections, then prepped strands by spritzing on a light-hold hairspray to prevent slipping. Using a straight-line hair foundation, Ess rolled the back section of Conrad's strands into a loose bun, and secured the style with large bobby pins. "Drape the side sections over your bun, and if you need to, wrap them around a curling iron," Ess advised. "This allows the sections to blend seamlessly with the bun."

InStyle Daily Beauty Tip: Coral Glow

Mila Kunis

"I wanted Mila Kunis to look fresh and effortless," said Lancome makeup artist Tracey Levy, who worked with the star at the 2011 Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills. A hint of coral eye shadow, a sweep of coral blush along the star's cheekbones, and a wash of coral lipstick gave Kunis a tonal glow. "The makeup's coral tones contrasted perfectly with her emerald gown," said Levy.

I love this look!

InStyle Daily Beauty Tip: Thick Lashes

Keira Knightley

"Long, luscious lashes are always the right move. At the London premiere of A Dangerous Method, Keira Knightley’s thick, full lashes stand out against her porcelain skin and perfectly groomed brows. To emphasize yours, try dusting translucent powder over your closed lids to give your mascara something to adhere to. Then curl and apply from the very base of you lashline upwards—we actually love the vibrating mascaras. They sound gimmicky but they actually work!"

I hope your weekend is going well!:)

Tomorrow is a big day as it is Game Day! Go Giants!

Vanessa Hudgens wore this three-strand gold headpiece on New Year's Eve.

InStyle Look of the Day: Rachel Bilson!

Hey, guys!

Thanks for all the input you guys gave me on the two Versace for H&M dresses I was thinking of buying. I've decided that they are too expensive, so I am looking for a cheaper alternative.

Moving on though, I just wanted to share with you a look from Rachel Bilson that I am totally loving right now.

Her red pants are so perfect. And I would never think to pair leopard print with another print, much less a floral top. She made it work so well though. I am so going to try that out.

What do you think of Rachel Bilson's look?
